The problem
Terminal 4 ran 48 cameras across two zones on an incumbent VMS with no cross-feed analytics. Footage was reviewed after incidents, and cross-zone questions took days to answer. Replacing the VMS was quoted at nine to twelve months.
The approach
Sirius tapped the existing RTSP streams read-only and ran detection on two on-premises GPU nodes. No cameras were swapped and the VMS was left untouched. Zone A went live in week five, Zone B in week nine.
